Special Stitches:
Treble or Triple Crochet (TR)-
This stitch is one step above the double crochet stitch per US terms. Whereas in the UK the treble (tr) stitch is considered a double treble crochet (dtr). To add more height to your pattern yarn over your hook twice, insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (4 loops on your hook), next yarn over and pull through two loops on your hook (3 loops remaining). Yarn over again and pull through two loops on the hook, repeat this a second time until you have only one loop left on your hook.
Double Crochet Together (DCTOG)-
This is a way to eliminate stitched in your work to maintain a certain shape. To create you will work a half-crocheted DC into the next number of stitches requested in the pattern. *Please search Google and YouTube to locate videos on how to crochet this stitch.
Treble Crochet Together (TRTOG)-
This is a way to eliminate stitched in your work to maintain a certain shape. To create you will work a half-crocheted US treble crochet (UK double treble crochet) into the next number of stitches requested in the pattern. *Please search Google and YouTube to locate videos on how to crochet this stitch.
