DOLL & BELLE BOWS

Learn how to crochet two new bows which can be used to accessorize a hairband or amigurumi pattern.
I could not wait to share these two cute and simple patterns with you as they take less than an hour to complete!
TO GET STARTED GRAB:
- Stitch markers, tapestry needle, and scissors.
- Medium weighted scrap yarn in a color of your choice.
- Crochet hook sized 4.0 mm F/6
CROCHET KEY (U.S. terms):
- ST/STS – STICH/SITCHES
- CH – CHAIN
- SC – SINGLE CROCHET
- BLSC – BACK LOOP SINGLE CROCHET
- HDC – HALF DOUBLE CROCHET
- DCTOG – DOUBLE CROCHET TOGETHER
- SL ST – SLIP STITCH
- RND – ROUND
- ROW – ROW
Special Stitches:
Back Loop Single Crochet (BLSC)-
Looking at the top of your work you will see a single crochet stitch and that it makes a V shape. Next put your hook under the loop farthest from you and pull up a loop. From here complete a single crochet. (Normally you would place your hook under both loops.)
Double Crochet Together (DCTOG)-
A decrease technique in crochet. First yarn over and insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (leaving 2 loops on the hook). Yarn over and insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, leave 4 loops on the hook. Yarn over again and pull through the first 2 loops on the hook, yarn over and pull through all three remaining loops on the hook to complete.
